Westoe Hit the Recording Studio

Following the roaring success of their debut album, ‘Beyond the Colliery’, the band are about to start recording on a new CD. This will be recorded on newly purchased, state of the art, equipment, and will feature pieces from their summer contest and concert programme. It is due to be released next year and will be available both from local music shops and online. If you can’t wait for the new release, however, copies of Beyond the Colliery can still be purchased - see the 'Recordings' section of the website for more details....

DLI Winners 2007

Westoe Brass Band is seeking an ambitious, talented BBb Bass player to join the ranks of South Tyneside's finest brass band.

The band has a busy schedule of engagements, competitions and rehearsals, however, the right player will get the opportunity to play and rehearse with a Championship Section band and play to a high standard.
